What is hosted services?

Hosted services are technology services offered by a provider, hosting physical servers that are removed from the customer’s premise. A hosted service provider owns and oversees infrastructure, software, and administrative tasks at a private location.

Instead of your company having process infrastructures such as a computer, ups, SCADA, Microsoft and anti-virus software and backup hardware, SSE takes the labour, time and headaches away by providing these hardware and software as a service to you.

Your process data is monitored and forwarded to the SSE centralized servers in Centurion. All this information is made available on the internet where your authorized personnel can view the information. This includes information visualization, data warehousing, alarm notification, and management reporting.

The advantage is that SSE is responsible for maintaining and upgrading hardware and software licenses. Backing up of data and ensuring that there are redundant servers 24/7. This eliminates the need for you to maintain and man the systems against viruses, theft, vandalism and continued upgrades.
